Our new Instant Milk Protein (1kg size) is a slow-digesting protein derived from milk, containing both Whey and Casein protein fractions. It is also an agglomerated powder particle, surface coated with an emulsifier to improve the mixability. With gentle stirring the instantised milk protein disperses quickly without clumping or foaming. The taste profile is neutral.
Our new milk protein is manufactured using ultra low heat treatment techniques including cold ultrafiltration. The proteins are preserved in their natural undenatured state and are very soluble in water, milk or fruit juice.
Did you know? Our Instant Milk Protein is filtered directly from fresh, pasteurised skimmed milk using the most advanced low temperature ultrafiltration techniques. This ensures minimal damage to the protein mollecules and preserves the micellar stucture of the casein. Many traditional milk protein's are made by blending dried whey protein and casein to mimic the balance found in milk, but the micellar structure is denatured in this process.

Instant Milk Protein contains micellar casein, whey proteins and bioactive proteins in the same ratio as found in milk. Instant Milk Protein is also a rich source of milk calcium and has a very low lactose content.
Milk Protein is probably the least used protein form against whey protein, but it does have some potential benefits and advantages over whey protein.
Unlike the fast absorbing whey proteins, milk protein is digested slowly in the intestinal tract, which allows time for proper digestion. Milk protein also has a higher content of branched chain amino acids (BCAA) than soy protein or egg protein.
Milk Protein Concentrate has a lower Protein Efficiency Ratio (PER) than whey protein, thus making it an excellent protein for athletes on a 'low carbohydrate' diet or those wishing to cut body mass.
This product is also instantised using a natural emulsifier is from sunflower oil extract, not a soya based lecithin.

Our Instant Milk Protein is 78% Micellar Casein, the rest is made up from whey protein and bioactive proteins.
