Starflower (borage) oil is the prime ingredient in this ultra high strength Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) supplement. Starflower Oil works in the same way as Evening Primrose Oil but contains greater amounts of GLA, therefore you dont need to take as much.
Starflower oil has been used for hundreds of years and is derived from the seeds of the borage plant. The borage plant is found thoughout Europe, North Africa and North America and it has blue star-shaped flowers.
People with a low thyroid function, poor eating habits, excessive alcohol consumption and also people whose bodies are generally under unwanted stress may struggle to get enough GLA.
Each softgel yields at least 100mg of GLA (Gamma-Linolenic Acid).
