Sida Cordifolia has been used in India for over 2,000 years to treat bronchial asthma cold & flu, lack of perspiration, chills, headache, aching joints and bones, nasal congestion, edema and cough & wheezing. In the Western world Sida Cordifolia (60 Capsules) is considered to have diuretic, diaphoretic, central nervous system stimulating (CNSS) and anti-asthmatic properties.
The stem of this plant contains a number of active compounds, including small amounts of an essential oil and most important, 10% alkaloids composed mainly of ephedrine and pseudoephedrine.
