Excellent product for presrving lean mass while cutting and intense training phases. Creatine allows you to push through the sticking points during your workouts whenthe last few reps really need to count. Great pumps and keeps the mucles looking and feeling hard.

I found this best mixed with a thick protein shake so the creatine crystals/particles stay in suspension..its a bit gritty when you drink but more than accaptable. I found strenth and size increases after 4-6 weeks..Im just about to purchase some more!! well done mp.

My god I have loaded for 5 days and ALREADY seen a massive difference I don't know if its all phycological. Been finding it hard the last few weeks to up the weight on my chest.... after taking this I breezed through it. 10/10 after 5 days of loading. could be 11/10 in another weeks time. smashed it!

Everyone here is talking about how this stuff does not mix well. I do agree with this but I feel it is best to 'man up' and take it via teaspoon direct to the mouth! A big sip of water later and 100% of the dosage has gone in you and not on the side of the glass/shaker! As for the effectiveness of this product I notice a difference in shape as well as gain more explosive power when doing big lifts. I must admit, I havent ever used a different creatine than this, but if it aint broke dont fix it!

Put on over 2.5 Kilos of mass in 3 weeks. Best taken before & after workouts about 3-5 grams creatine. My postwork out shake was 3-5 g creatine with 40g of glucose, 20g protein, 5g glutamine & 5g BCAA's. Good gains in strenght, size & endurance. \n

I've been taking this for a month now, though I did not do a loading phase. I've noticed an increase in stamina and endurance, and my DOMs aren't as intense as they used to be in the past. No side effects and I didn't have any wind problems that people say creatine gives you. I noticed a bit of thickening around the waistline and I get thirsty quicker so more water needed.

I've been giving my Hubby Creatine for several months now to help with his dramatic tissue wastage from Huntington's Disease (HD) and it's working wonders for him. We need to take regular blood checks as he is on High Dose (10g - 20g per day) but use Creapure as it's as close as we can get to the pharmaceutical grade creatine being trialled at Phase 3 level by the FDA.\n\nTrish D - London

Been using this for almost 4 weeks, taking it not strictly but mainly after a workout, 5 grams, mixed in my custom shake (70% soy, 10& glutamine, 10% dextrose and 10% egg white powder). For me, this stuff is the dogs b.llocks! I have used CEE, and tried other supplements such as the Methoxy stuff and none of them apart from CEE has come close, trouble is with CEE i get bad odor under arms! wierd! but as far as the best goes, this is it, for me anyway!

I'm not a doctor, a personal trainer or a nutritionist. I'm an athlete health & fitness is a hobby. I'm simply relaying the answers I've found when I asked this question myself. \n\nIn answer to your question, other than dehydration (all creatine supplements will warn you to drink plenty of water when using them) there isn't going to be any risk in taking creapure post workout, many people do it. \n\nHowever, most of the studies you'll find (and there's a lot of them) will tell you that creatine consumption in excess of suggested serving (up to 5 grams) won't be absorbed and will be excreted by the body.\n\nSome might argue that everybody is different, pro-bodybuilders might be able to absorb up to 10 grams of creapure, maybe more, who knows? (Notice that a lot of pre-workouts containing creatine will tell you to increase serving size if you feel that their effects are becoming less potent.) \n\nAnother argument for taking creapure post-workout is to replace ATP stores that have been depleated during exercise.\n\nThere is a lot to be said for studies, some of which prove no correlation between certain supplements and gains in lean tissue/weight/strength. \n\nThe choice is yours. Creatine is usually sold as a pre workout. Try taking it pre and post, try taking it just pre. As long as you're not introducing anything new into your supplement regime while you're doing this you'll be able to judge if you think it's having an effect. \n\nOne thing consider however, is that if you're only taking it before you workout, your supply is going to last you twice as long.

only been using it for a few days but so far so good, taste is fine mixed in with my MP unflavoured protein and mixes very easy. 1 negative is the lack of info on the pouch it comes in. I had to do my own research into when to take it and the initial loading phase for the first week, this could be improved and take it to the next level, although I am being very fussy there! will post again a couple of weeks down the line with review of effectiveness

Having used MP standard Mono formula for several months, I have to say Creapure was superior. It doesn't mix quite as well, but the impact it had on my physique was much better. I have to use twice as much MP Mono to get the same effect as the Creapure stuff, so the latter actually works out cheaper than MP for me. Also, I'm slightly more comforted that this is a "purer" creatine. Apart from that, creatine is the most important supp I take. I'd miss it even more than whey protein.

Whilst I have used pre-workout supplements that contain creapure I have not used it isolated. Hence this is not so much a review, but just something I thought I should point out. (Every product I have purchased from myprotein has been outstanding quality and value, which is why I am a returning customer.)\n\nHowever, for those of you like myself with slightly tighter purse strings. Try taking a look at the certificate of anaylsis for Myprotein's 'Creatine Monohydrate' and you will see that when tested it was certified as being 99.99% creatine. Why pay more for 'Creapure'? \n\nMaybe there is some information I am missing but from what I've read Myprotein's Monohydrate is of exactly the same standard?

I have used creatine caps in the past and they did work well, some people don't seem to respond well to creatine but I deffinately do.\n\nTried creapure and its worked much better than the caps I had previously, creapure has had a very positive effect in terms of helping me increase my strength which is what im aiming for. Bought a 500g bag and nearly used it so will be ordering more soon.\n\nTechnique: Two small scoops into mouth (resting on your tongue) then poor drink into your mouth and have a quick swish so that the creatine mixes in and then swallow... I find that it mixes instantly and doesn't cause lumps etc, much prefer to do this than trying to stir it into a glass of water.

Hey guys,\n\nI have been using Creapure for about 4-5 months now. I can safely vouch for the performance gains. Not being very active before I started, because of Creatine from Creapure I could swim 20 lengths in the mornings, have a hard 1 hour gym session during lunch and run about 4-5K in under 30 minutes in the evenings for 5 days!\n\nI have a problem now though, I have been taking creapure recently pre-workout (dump a 5mg scoop in my mouth and chase with water) 3 x times a day 20 minutes before swimming, gymming and running. Other things I take include hmb (post), bcca(post), l-glutamine(post), glucusamine sulphate (pre-sleep), whey protein (post) x 2 large scoops, milk protein x 2 large scoops (before bed). \n\nAll of the above are MP products.\n\nI have been happy with my performance but with my high intensity workouts, a proper low fat lean diet (500g chicken + 150g(uncooked weight) brown rice split into 4 meals + breakfast = half scoop instant oats + 2 x scoops whey protein), IM STILL PUTTING ON MASSIVE BLOAT. \n\nIS this too much creatine in my system? I thought it would flush out? I think its water rentention sub q and in the stomach? I have stopped taking creatine ( 1 day off now) and still have bloat.\n\nAny suggestions guys? How can I reduce the creatine bloat? Im going on Holiday soon and want to look lean!.. :(\n \nThanks!

The strength gains have come after4 - 5 weeks for me.i have come off it for about 4 weeks and still my strength is good however when started using it again i saw an increase in strength again so it is handy to give it some time off for a while as recommended.great product

On an off day, I have 5g's.\nI have have noticed a bulking of lean tissue and a steady weight gain since.\nYou do need to drink more liquid (but you should in training anyway!).\nOnly downside, and it is slight, is that it doesn't dissolve much at all, so it is quite grainy to drink. But I am not sure if it is supposed to dissolve?!?!

I find this an excellent product at a good price, it is helping me to build power for rugby and i am seeing good weight gains. Just to answer a couple of posted questions, most of the available literature suggests doses of 3-5g perday depending on your size, there doesnt seem to be much advantage to any dose above 5g daily. also if you havent got a measuring device i would suggest getting one, a dose which is too high could give you some interesting gastrointestinal issues! if you must use a spoon then its about half a teaspoon!

And if this is the "purest" form of creatine, what is in the 0.01 %? And what is in the other form of creatine that they sell?

This is the third brand of creatine I've used and the only one that has caused me to have side effects - namely stomach cramps and diarrhoea. I've had to stop use and go back to my high street brand.\n\nFurthermore, it simply doesn't mix. This means one needs to stir it into a small amount of fruit juice and then neck it hoping there aren't too many crunchy lumps left in your mouth!

Excellent price and have found the product very effective after a few weeks use noticing increased endurance and extra reps. However, doesn't mix at all in water, and as other users have said you have to do the normal swirl around, and swill down. Gave me the squirts for a while, but that seems to have died down now.

My lean tissue is much fuller, and I feel as though I can lift more than previously. 4 stars as it's my first creatine and more expensive then the standard monohydrate, which I've just got a 500g bag of due to it being significantly cheaper. Sounds like you're overtraining. We've all done it. I used to cycle 10 miles to the gym, train my whole body for 3 hours then cycle the ten miles back, 6 days a week. I too wondered why I was shrinking. Just remember, you don't grow in the gym. I only started to make gains when I cut my training back to 2 days (intense) per week. Some of us are just hard gainers. Experiment. Good luck

Wasn't taking it right at first, headaches etc, but did a little reading and now feeling the benefits. Maybe it's just me but I don't feel any stonger, just loads more stamina. Hi,\n\ni think i may be able to offer some help. I read that you have 3 servings a day. I think this may be your problem as it is recommended you have 5g a day (1 t-spoon) I bet you drink a lot of water too? i used to take Omni MX Hardcore which is full to the eyeballs with eveything you can imagine including 10000mg of creatine. I used to drink about 6ltr a day but as soon as I had a omni mx hardcore shake my belly doubled in size and i honestly couldn't stand up straight with bloating pains. I thought it was the shake until I found out drinking a lot of water and taking high levels of creatine WILL bloat you. ide cut your creatine down a bit mate and see how you get on. They really need a forum on this site!! Anyway I hope this helps!\n\nRoss
