Overview

Eggs are a rich source of quality protein yet many people are concerned by the fat and cholesterol found in the yolk. Egg White Powder is a convenient way of increasing your protein intake without the hassle of separating the yolk from the egg white.

Every 3.1 grams of Egg White Powder is the equivalent to eating 1 medium egg.

Our Egg White Powder is a spray-dried dispersible, egg protein manufactured directly from egg whites and has an excellent nutritional and amino acid profile.

Whey protein may be the most bio available form of protein and casein the most slowly absorbing, but they both have their downsides.

Whey protein is absorbed extremely quickly making it ideal for after a workout, but not at any other time of the day because after roughly 2 hours you're out of protein.

Casein on the other hand is absorbed very slowly, so it's the perfect solution for any other time of the day. Right? Wrong. Well, not entirely, as it is very useful but is not very bio available, so is not all absorbed.

Egg White Powder is the answer, the perfect compromise; a protein that doesn't act too fast, but not too slowly either, and one that is very well absorbed.

It is absorbed over 3-4 hours and with great effect. You can either use it by itself or make your own custom blend with Egg White Powder, Whey and Casein to get the multiple benefits of all 3 proteins.

Do you want to cook with your egg whites, if so why not try our 100% fresh pasturised Liquid Egg Whites?

The amino acid profile can be found at the bottom of the page under 'Certificates'.

OK so the taste is like something primordial, but the stuff works very well. I've using it for a month now and I feel it has contributed to the progress I've made. The first time I tried it I mixed it in water by itself - very big mistake. Tried a few methods but finally came up with the following "recipe": 1 scoop egg 1/2 scoop whey 1 scoop instant oats 1 tsp creatine (for the last 2 weeks) 1 tsp glutamine (for the last two weeks) 2 tsp Nesquik banana Taking one of these first thing in the morning, and late afternoon on non training days instead of my usual post workout shake. The whey seems to stop the frothing and gives a fast absorption peak to complement the slower absorption of the egg (well that's the idea, I think). Anyway its working well, no bloating or other side effects and strength has increased despite my weight dropping 5KG with the better diet I'm now following. Great stuff!

Been using this protein before bed for quite a while now and love it. I like it because of its slower absorption rate. Mixed on its own with water it tastes awful, which resulted in me mixing it with quite a bit of chocolate powder... not ideal. However, I discovered a much better way of doing things a while back. Mix it with milk, 1tsp chocolate power and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and it becomes a surprisingly tasty drink :)

Yeah ... you can get nicer (odourless) egg white powder from cooking shops, but it'll cost the same or more (per white) as cheap eggs. This stuff, is great if you want a really cheap egg white you can reconstitute for cooking.

I always grow on egg white be it powder or not, carefull here though, i have trained and taken supplements 20+ years including the early protein powders that tasted like you would expect molten concrete to taste like. This egg white powder beats the lot it is so bad in taste that it should be a test on one of those endurance shows. Mix it with flavoured whey and your laughing, its ok then. Good stuff, recommended, on its own though you would probably give up buying this stuff though, mix it or suffer.Use my code for money off your order, no catches MP1606

It needs a blender and it needs some flavouring to be tolerable. Its completely different to whey be aware and is unlikely to ever taste as good as whey can. I purchased the my protein strawberry powder and its OK when mixed with egg white powder. Alternatively mix it with de caff coffee if you like that taste. Its old fashioned protein, still one of the best / maybe best depending on your own opinion. Use referral code m p 1606 for money off first order.

Don't use this stuff on its own, especially not with water! I've always used 2parts Whey to 1part Egg White and a spoon of Tesco's Strawberry powder(no sweetners or cr*p in it, just lovely Dextrose and beta carotene for color). Perfect.

I use this because I have a dairy intolerance. I'm not expecting it to taste good on it's own - I mix it with oats and use stevia to sweeten (none of that nasty aspartame or whatever), I also use it in baking for high protein cake/bread. It's great stuff - just get a bit creative with it!

i am sure it is high in nutritional value but i have tried some and the taste is beyond bad. i mixed enough to get 70g of protein in water and could only barely finish and keep it down. afterwards my stomach was in uproar for the rest of the day. i eat a lot of eggs and never had a problem but egg white powder is just too bad in taste.\r\n\r\n

I've picked this product along with the ultra fine Scottish oats and I'm very happy with the results. Mixability is OK but I tend to use a hand blender, taste wise initially was horrible but I think that's because its been a while since I've a had protein/carb shake, to make it more pleasant I add some sugar free blackcurrent cordial and it's much easier to swallow. Only been using for a few days and I've had no dodgy reactions. So all good.

This stuff isn't meant to taste good. Mix it with chocolate powder or a banana if you have to (milk/ water natch). Those who don't like the taste have never tried egg powder before. \n\nNothing will help you pack on lean tissue as quickly as this protein powder. Trust me.

I echo much of the comment below. This does not mix well. I have tried with water and milk. I have tried in all amounts of liquid, including mixing a paste first. It smells bad. It makes me gag and alomst throw up as I eat it. I mix it 50/50 with flavoured whey and it is just about consumable. I will try one or two of the ideas below but compared with some if the fabulous things I have bought on this site, this one is a real disappointment.\r\n

Ok last note on this. I've managed to mask that minging taste of the egg white powder. I mixed 1 large scoop of EW powder with 1.5 scoops of WPC80, a tsp canderell sweetner and a whole bannana. Result: A hell of a lot better. The bannana works so well you can barely make out the EW powder. Plus the bannana is loaded full of potassium for energy and keeps ya regular!! Give the bannana a shot who ever reads this next.

Hey everyone. I've been a user of WPC 80 and WP isolate for over 6 yrs now. I recently purchased a tub of this egg white powder (in fact it arrived yesterday), so i gave it a try. OH MY GOD, came to mind when i first tried it. One large scoop of that with one scoop whey with nesquick and i was almost balking. I literally held my nose when i downed the lot. So, what i found was, that i mixed have a scoop of egg white with 2 scoops WPC 80 and 2 tsp strawberry nesquick and the minging flavour definitely was hidden guys (not entirely gone, but hidden none the less). Give it a try. I'm gonna keep taking it as the protein profile of this product is very good. Perserverance mon fellow weight lifting collegues. Perserverance.

Ok, i made myself another shake at lunchtime. I found that adding half of a large 33g scoop egg white with one large scoop of WPC80 and 4 tsp of strawberry nequick with UHT milk did go down a lot better. I'm going to try adding a bannana next time, we'll soon see if that will mask the taste of the egg white powder.

I love eggs and egg whites BUT this stuff is as close to gastronomic torture as I've ever come....and I'm not at all fussy when it comes to food, I'll literally east anything.\n\nI tried mixing it with water, milk, sugar, whey anything to mask the fowl ( ) ) taste. \n\nI also tried cooking with it but it just clumps together. In the end I had to chuck it out as the smell made me gag, and then just the thought of it made me think that going catabolic wasn't such a bad idea after all if this was the only option......\n\nIf you do buy this and actually enjoy it, then please drop me a line as I'll have a medal produced for ya....\n\nPersonally I'd rather sell my right arm than contemplate dried egg whites again, but that's just my opinion.\n\n

OK this is my first batch of egg white powder so was surprised to find the following:- first its pale yellow ( i expected it to be white) its clumpy ( i expected same texture as casein, fine and white)and it plays havoc with my stomach -gas and bloating. As i say ive nothing to compare this with as its first time use from any supplier. The protein itself has a lot going for it so i would like to try it again from another supplier .I think Asda sell it amonst their baking range of stuff -not much but enough to see the colour , the texture and my reaction to it.\nDisappointing.

I got this product even after reading all of the reviews. I was struggling to have over 3 egg whites a day and my goal was to have about 10.\nThe first time I had it I mixed 1 scoop with 1 scoop chocolate whey and it was awful. I gagged! Only managed to drink it by holding my nose.\nNow I make this really nice skake with 1 banana. 300ml skimmed milk, 1 scoop egg white powder, 50g oats and a dollop of honey. Lovely!\nI've only been using the powder for a week of so so can't comment on the gains yet.

come on guys, you can do better than this, surely. no dispute on the fact that this could be a great gainer when well applied -- but i don't understand: the mixability? surely you could've added some emulsifier? lecithin? what about the taste: why not sucralose and flavouring? \n\nthis could be really good, but i don't get your hangup with aiders for mixability and taste -- when you do it for other mixes? \n\ni've to add chocolate and sweetener myself to make it bearable and swallowable but the mixability is truly dreadful -- it can form clumps if you're not careful, and part of the powder always sticks to the bottom. \n\nwhy not do something about it, mp?\n

I used this instead of whey since I am lactose intolerant. I've had no adverse reaction to it so other people in the same situation may wish to try it too.\n\nIt does taste awful and is a bit of a nightmare to mix. I whisk it around with some cold water then bung it in a smoothie maker with a chopped up banana, some oats and 3 tea spoons of banana Nesquick for about 5 mins, which sorts it all out.

I can't tolerate dairy so finding an 'instant' protein shake is hard. I put a scoop of this into a shaker, add a pinch of the irish chocolate flavouring and top up with soya milk. The soya milk is quite creamy (sweetened alpro soya) so the overall taste is like a milky chocolate milkshake! Nice flavour!\n\nIt does seperate easily so I just shake it lots whilst drinking.

While the taste on its own is immensley disgusting, truely truely awful, the results that come about from use with this are great. I mix it with a hand blender, does a perfect job, smooth as anything. To mask the taste use that berry blast stuff in the "flavouring systems" section. It actually masks the horrible taste very well.

Taste you can get used too after a while, I eased into it by just tasting little bits of the dry powder first and now I can drink it with no flavourings, only real problem is the egg whites when shaken foam up with because I want to get all the protein I have to then eat all the foam which makes having a shake take longer but other than that its a good high bv protein for people allergic to whey or who want a slower releasing one.

Take it from me, if you are planning on going for a long drive with your wife or girlfriend then best not take any of this stuff for 24 hours before.
