Overview

Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid (EFA) that is sourced from fish oil. Fatty acids are the basis of fats & oils, and are necessary for overall health and well being. They are essential to the human body because they are a component of every living cell in the body. EFAs are necessary for rebuilding existing cells and the production of new cells. Essential fatty acids are made up of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) which are both long chain fatty acids that have been shown to provide a number of health benefits.

A number of studies have shown that fish oil can reduce the risk of heart disease, reduce the incidence of strokes, and improve some measures of depression. Recent studies have also shown that essential fatty acids can direct glucose (from digested carbohydrates) towards glycogen storage while at the same time directing other fatty acids in the body away from triglyceride synthesis (fat storage) and towards fatty acid oxidation. In simple terms, essential fatty acids appear to conserve carbohydrates while simultaneously burning fat.

Our Omega 3 has a max of 0.1ppm Heavy Metals.

Ingredients

Omega 3 Fish Oil (18% EPA, 12% DHA), Softgel (Gelatin, Glycerin), Purified Water, Vitamin E (DL-Alpha Tocopherol Acetate).

Free from artificial colours & preservatives, yeast, gluten, starch & lactose. No added salt (sodium chloride) or sugar. GMO free.

Suggested Use

We recommend consuming 2 softgels 1 - 3 times daily with meals.

I'm a little confused as to how many capsuals i am meant to have a day? on the lable, it says "take one capsual daily" and "do not exceed the recomended daily intake." but on the web site it says take 2 capsuals, 1-3 times a day. so what actualy is the correct daily ammount??? tnx, chris...\n\nP.S i am VERY impressed with the service on this site! it was easy to use, quick to order and it was shipped to me exceptionaly quickly. all of the products that i ordered have been to a very high standard and it is definately value for money! i will certainly be useing your company again, thanks!
